A county lines drug dealer has been jailed for three years and nine months following offences in the Weymouth area.

Frankie Reeves, 25 and of Derbyshire, was jailed at Bournemouth Crown Court on Wednesday 20 December 2023 after pleading guilty at a previous hearing to two counts of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.

On Monday 9 October 2023, officers from the local neighbourhood enforcement team attended the address of a vulnerable man in the Westham area to carry out a welfare check.

Reeves was located inside the address in possession of cocaine and heroin, as well a mobile phone linking him to the supply of drugs.

He was arrested in connection with the incident and subsequently charged.

Investigations Officer Florence Winstanley, of Dorset County CID, said: “We fully recognise the impact drug dealing has on local communities and we will relentlessly pursue anyone who is supplying drugs in Dorset.

“Through this investigation we were able to bring Reeves to justice for his actions and safeguard a vulnerable person whose address was being exploited by the defendant.”
