Shortly after 11.30pm on Saturday, 19 April 2025, officers responded to reports of a disturbance in the Thresher Way area involving a man and woman who were known to each other.

Subsequently, it was reported that the man, who was wearing a black jumper and black jogging bottoms, caused damage to a series of vehicles in the area. It is further reported the man subsequently fell from the roof of a property. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment for what are described as potentially life-changing injuries, where he remains at this time.

A full investigation is underway into this incident. No arrests have been made.

Police Sergeant Jane Moore, of Wimborne police, said, “We know this incident may have caused some concern with residents in the area, and there are a number of victims who have had their vehicles damaged.

“I am keen to hear from any witnesses or victims who have not already spoken to police and would also urge anyone who has captured the incident on doorbell cameras or other footage to please contact us.

Officers from the local neighbourhood policing team will be in the area and can be approached by any members of the public who have queries or concerns.”
