This weekend, visitors to the Brewery Square Christmas market and Ice Queen event can enjoy the release of new children’s story, ‘Tomatoes,’ written and illustrated by local writer and artist, Jemima Catlin.
Jemima will be at Brewery Square on Saturday December 17 from 10am until 4pm to promote her latest book and welcomes all visitors.
The book is aimed at children between the ages of 2 and 6, telling the tale of an old lady facing numerous challenges after buying magic tomato seeds.
Charlotte Spracklen, centre manager at Brewery Square, said “We’re delighted to welcome Jemima to Brewery Square this weekend to celebrate the launch of ‘Tomatoes.’ We wish her the very best with her latest venture.”
The Christmas market and Ice Queen event also take place at Brewery Square on Saturday December 17. The market will be open from 10am until 4pm and the Ice Queen will visit from 2pm until 4pm. Food stalls will include mulled wine and chestnuts, crepes, cocktails and Nandos will be selling its sauces.
The retail offering at Brewery Square includes HOBBS, Phase Eight, Jones Bootmaker, Joules and Stolen from Susie. Restaurants include Zizzi, Carluccio’s, Wagamama and Morrish and Banham wine merchant and tasting room.
