Officers investigating an assault in Poole are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify.

It is reported that between 12.20am and 12.30am on Sunday 28 April 2024, the victim – a man aged in his 40s – was involved in an altercation with two men after one of the men kicked the window of the Kitchen Elegance store in Bournemouth Road, causing it to smash.

One of the men then punched the victim in the head, who was knocked unconscious to the ground.

The two men then left shortly after the incident in the direction of Springfield Road.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to head and facial injuries.

Police Constable Thomas James, of Poole police, said: “I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of one of the men I would like to identify in connection with this incident.

“I would ask anyone with information about his identity to please contact Dorset Police.”
