Men Sought Following Serious Assault In Bournemouth

Detectives are issuing an image of a man they would like to identify as they investigate an assault in Bournemouth.

It is reported that between 12.40am and 1am on Sunday 29 September 2024 a man was assaulted while leaving the Cameo nightclub in Fir Vale Road.

It is reported that the man was grabbed by a group of men and put in a headlock before one of them punched him in the face.

The victim – a man aged in his 20s – attended hospital for treatment to a serious facial injury.

Detective Constable Aimi Cowden, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We take reports of violent actions which take place during our nighttime economy very seriously and we are conducting a full investigation into this incident.

“We have obtained a CCTV image of a man we would like to identify as part of our enquiries and I would urge anyone who recognises him to please contact us.”
