Missing Bournemouth man found dead

A body found in the water off the coast of Swanage has been formally identified as missing Bournemouth man Jaroslaw Sajur.

Jaroslaw, aged 35, was reported missing after he was last seen at his home in Wellington Road at around 9pm on Thursday 2 May 2019.

On Thursday 23 May 2019 Dorset Police received a report from HM Coastguard that a vessel had discovered a body in the sea off the coast of Swanage.

The body was recovered and following a formal identification process has now been confirmed as that of Jaroslaw.

Inspector Danny Thompson, of North Bournemouth police, said: “We have continued to update keep Jaroslaw’s family updated and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
