Officers are appealing for help from the public to find a missing man from Dorchester.

Michael Allcock, aged 78, is believed to have left his home address in Somerleigh Road at around 8am on Sunday 6 June 2021.

Michael is described as white, five feet 11 inches tall and of slim build with short grey hair and a white beard and moustache. He is possibly wearing a navy-coloured jacket, brown trousers and a navy-coloured cap.

Chief Inspector Neil Wright, of Dorset Police, said: “Michael can become easily confused so we are concerned for his welfare and keen to locate him to ensure he is all right.

“Officers are currently carrying out searches of the local area in a bid to locate him.

“It is unusual for Michael not to have returned home yet and I am therefore appealing to anyone who has seen Michael, or a man matching the description given, to please get in touch immediately.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Michael’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 6:201.
