A night of festive fun at Molly’s Den vintage emporiums raised £208.40 to help needy children this Christmas.
The vintage emporiums at Wallisdown in Bournemouth and Easton Lane in Winchester, held late-night shopping events last week. Live music played, while traders and shoppers enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies. Shoppers also had the chance to win Molly’s Den gift vouchers in a raffle in aid of charity Cash for Kids.
The charity helps children in Dorset and Hampshire and focuses on alleviating poverty, supporting disability and improving quality of life. The Molly’s Den team said they were ‘delighted’ to have raised more than £200 from the event held across their Bournemouth and Winchester emporium sites.
New owner of Molly’s Den, John East-Rigby said they were ‘very pleased’ with how the evening had gone. He said: “We’re over the moon to have raised over £200 for such a worthy cause. We’d like to thank the traders, staff and of course, everyone who came on the night for all their support. This is a wonderful charity, making the lives of children brighter this Christmas.”
There’s still time to find a unique gift for Christmas at Molly’s Den. All emporiums will be closing early on Christmas Eve and will be open again on December 27th and all Dens will be closed on New Year’s Day.
