At around 8.30am on Thursday 2 December 2021 a man aged in his 20s was riding a red Yamaha moped on the Civic Centre roundabout toward Poole Park when he was hit by an unknown object fired from a slingshot.

The victim was hit on his neck, but did not sustain any injuries.

Police Community Support Investigator Adam Cleaver, of Poole police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed what happened or may have relevant dashcam footage to please come forward.

“This kind of activity poses a danger to road users and the wider public and I would urge people to act responsibly.”
