To Gaia’s family and friends:
The last few weeks have been absolute hell for you all. There is not much we can say but the love of the community has said so much. Our thoughts are with you now as much as ever as is our love.
The comments on social media have brought a tear to many an eye and the love and compassion is so strong.
We would also like to send our thoughts to those who were arrested. Your utter and complete exoneration by the police must not be forgotten by the whole community and for any distress we would like to offer our apologies if they in any way contributed to your experience, either at the time or since.
Finally the last words should go to Marienna (Pope-Weidemann) Gaia’s cousin:
