Never underestimate the power of conversation

What a brilliant and inspiring conversation I have just had-speaking to a delivery driver over 60. He voted to Leave the EU based mainly on immigration fears, and was very sceptical of Corbyn. We had a great, friendly to and fro and he is now a complete Corbyn convert! All I did was explain the facts and challenged him to check them himself, which he did in front of me. He is also now highly sceptical of our mainstream media-where all the abuse and lies he based his opinion on, came from.

I now have a spring in my step and a smile on my face because it proves, and this has happened literally dozens of times now (via comments, personal messages, stopping me in street, texts, emails, even ringing my house!) that by engaging with people, giving them the facts and information to make their own decisions, we can all make a positive difference. Of course I am far from alone in this, I know! But it is essential we all do this (and I know many reading are!), because WE have to act as the media. Non of us are experts, and don’t worry if you don’t know a lot-you can always ask various different people in our Movement; just speak from your heart about why you care so much, and why it is so important we get a Labour government ASAP. When you have truth and compassion on your side, it doesn’t half help.
