New Friends Of The Elm Tree Inn Video Hits TikTok!

We have had a massive global response to our crowdfunding campaign and phenomenal social media coverage – with our latest TikTok views now at over 2 million and our Instagram page with over 15,000 followers.

Why are we doing this? Because we want to save our village pub. We are just a bunch of local people that love where we live, but we really wanted others to get behind this campaign, and they have!

Our TikTok videos have been an amazing success, with global reach! From Australia to Newfoundland, Ukraine to South Africa, Singapore to Brazil, Hawaii to Hong Kong, and right across the UK, Europe, and the USA, people have been loving the sentiments and humour in our little videos and pledging donations.

We really do think we can save the Elm Tree Inn and run it as a community-owned pub at the heart of our rural Dorset village in Langton Herring.

We are still amazed at the impact we have had and absolutely astounded by the love from Gen Z supporters and Boomers alike and have already seen over £40,000 come in small donations and a similar amount in share purchases from over 2,000 local and international supporters!

The latest video conceived by our own Sarah Warren features a host of locals from the village, and a new angle on the history of the pub!! [See screenshots attached.]

Our donation page is on Crowdfunder, anyone can help by making a donation at:

Share purchases can be made here;

We now need local businesses and individual supporters to buy shares, which are being issued for a minimum of £200 to a maximum of £65,000 per individual or organisation. We would also welcome any donations in kind, which would help us to raise further funds from our supporters. We would be very grateful for any type of support that anyone might be able to provide.
