Knoll House Hotel is pleased to announce that local foraging and outdoor activities organisation Fore/Adventure has opened its customer-facing office in the hotel’s grounds.

Run by husband and wife duo Jade and Dan Scott, Fore/Adventure offers a range of outdoor activities including foraging, kayaking, bushcraft skills and paddleboarding. Once a month the couple host their signature adventure trips, as sampled by Jamie Oliver and Jimmy Doherty, which involve a full day of kayaking, fishing, foraging and feasting.

Dan Scott, founder of Fore/Adventure, commented: “I’ve spent most of my life outdoors, and to be able to offer those experiences as part of my career is something I am truly honoured by. We wholeheartedly believe in life through adventure, and encourage people to join us no matter what their experience level is – we’ve got something for everyone!”

Fore/Adventure can be found within the grounds of Knoll House Hotel, the office is located opposite the reception’s rear entrance from the car park. Guests staying at the hotel can visit the team and book activities at any point throughout their stay and receive 10 per cent off.

The team at Fore/Adventure provided the Knoll House team with the opportunity to go kayaking around Old Harry Rocks to get a taste for the activities and learn about the variety of activities on offer. Seven members of the team from different departments were taken out on the water by Jade and Dan.

Tracy Tennant, general manager at Knoll House, added: “It was great to get some of the team out on the water with Fore/Adventure for a spot of team building and to really understand the activities that they have to offer for our guests when they stay at the hotel.”
