One of the main business objectives of the Weymouth BID is to attract more visitors to Weymouth out of season. This week the first regional marketing campaign will take place in Southampton and Bristol targeting short break visitors to Weymouth during the Autumn and Winter months.
The campaign will feature a series of press features and advertisements, editorial, radio campaign with Heart FM, outdoor marketing featuring billboards and posters and an on line competition to win a two night break for two people in Weymouth staying at the B+B guest house on the Esplanade, dining at the Dining Room and choosing one of the three leisure activities available to the Winners. The lucky winners can choose either a photography course provided by local photographer Lara Jane Thorpe, a cookery course at the Dining Room provided by Taher Jibet or a cycling tour provided by Jurassic Cycle Trails.
A competition will run from 22 September where one lucky winner could WIN a 2 night stay for two in Weymouth including a candle lit dinner for 2 plus one of the following activities, Local Photography lesson and tour, a Cycling experience around the local area or a Cookery Course at the Award Winning Dining Room Restaurant with acclaimed chef Taher Jibet https://www.thediningroomweymouth.co.uk/category/news/.
