New shows go on sale at Lighthouse

Lighthouse, Poole, is pleased to announce the following new shows and screenings are on sale this week:

With Courage
Thursday 19 September, 7.45pm, Theatre
Premiering to coincide with the RNLI’s bicentenary, With Courage by Jon Hare is a feel-good folk musical celebrating the history and sacrifice of our coastal communities.

Big Sing: Big Brahms
Sunday 22 September, 4pm, Concert Hall

Bournemouth Symphony Chorus invite singers to join in a singing workshop followed by an informal performance of Brahms’ beautiful Ein Deutsches Requiem – A German Requiem. The day will be led and conducted by Gavin Carr, inspirational Director of the BSC and Philharmonia Chorus.

Martin McAloon of Prefab Sprout
Wednesday 4 December, 8pm, Sherling Studio
Armed only with his guitar, Prefab Sprout bassist Martin McAloon is on tour to revel in the repertoire written by his brother Paddy, including the hits Cars and Girls, When Love Breaks Down and The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll as well as album tracks and fan favourites, along with some storytelling and the opportunity to meet Martin after the show. 

Michael Starring Ben
Friday 11 April 2025, 7.30pm, Concert Hall
Take a journey back in time to remember Michael Jackson – the man, the music and the magic. Michael​ Starring Ben is a hit theatre production starring the UK’s ultimate Michael Jackson tribute star, Ben Bowman.

With the exception of Martin McAloon of Prefab Sprout, which goes on pre-sale on Thursday 30 May, tickets go on pre-sale to Lighthouse Friends only from Wednesday 29 May and on general sale from Friday 31 May. at https://www.lighthousepoole.co.uk
