New Shows Go On Sale At Poole Lighthouse

Indie folk, classic hits and song legends as new shows go on sale

Music fans of all kinds will be tuned to Lighthouse as the latest round of new shows goes on sale this week.

From the cutting edge of British indie folk, to one of the genre’s most respected exponents, as well as traditional sounds and a wealth of mainstream pop old and new, it’s a musical month of note.

One of Britain’s most exciting young folk outfits, Good Habits – featuring Dorset’s very own Bonnie Schwarz – have already played Glastonbury and WOMAD which makes their Lighthouse debut a particular highlight; while Nick Harper pays tribute to his dad, folk legend Roy, showcasing some of the songs he heard directly from the genre’s greats when growing up.

Produced by the band’s fiddle player John Sheahan, The Dubliners Encore is the official stage show celebration of the iconic group, dipping into a songbook every bit as loved as those showcased by The Mersey Beatles, famously the best-loved Liverpool-born Beatles tribute.

And the region’s Swifties are sure to put on a rafter-raising show of their own as the smash hit Eras Experience: Taylor Swift show returns to Lighthouse next Spring after its sell-out debut earlier this year.
