CCTV appeal following theft from jewellers in Bournemouth


Officers investigating the theft of a high value ring from a jewellers in Bournemouth are issuing CCTV images of the suspect.

At around 1.45pm on Monday 28 September 2020 a man entered Arcade Jewellers in Bournemouth Arcade and spoke to a member of staff about purchasing an engagement ring.

While the man was looking at one ring, he asked to see another one and as the member of staff turned around he left the store with a diamond solitaire ring valued at around £3,500.

Police Constable Holly Palmer, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this theft and have obtained CCTV images of the suspect.

“I appreciate they are not of the best quality, but I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.”
