On the night of Saturday 11 March into the morning of Sunday 12 March 2023 damage was caused to a gate at an address in St Mary’s Road and tools were also removed from a garage. However, the tools were left in the garden of the property, and it was not believed anything was stolen.

Damage was also caused to the letterbox on the front door of the house.

Police Constable Ashlea Gale, of East Dorset police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed and suspicious activity in the area on the relevant night.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured any relevant footage on dashcam, home CCTV or doorbell camera footage.”
