Osprey Leisure Centre is a registered charity and needs to raise funds each year to continually meet the improvements required by the public and keep the Portland community leisure centre open to all.

On Friday 2nd December guests are invited to attenda Dinner Dance and an evening of fine food and entertainment. Darron Garnett will be performing at the event singing favourite songs of the past, present and maybe even the future…

Nigel Williams, General Manager at Osprey Leisure Centre said “. It is really important for us to raise funds as we are a charity and receive no statutory funding at all to keep our centre going.  This event depends on the support and generosity of local people and the endless dedication that is supplied by Rachel Barton. Tickets are still available from the centre”.

The next big event to be held at the Osprey Leisure Centre will be the Tenth Anniversary celebration on Saturday 14thJanuary 2017 when the centre will host an Open Day with fun and entertainment. The Open Day will start at 10am and will be open all day through to the evening where the day will culminate with live bands and fireworks over Portland Harbour.  Food stalls will also be on site to replenish energy to allow visitors to take part in those activities which are available at certain times of the day.
