Overtime, double time, and incentivised pay has been stopped at Poole hospital

Poole Hospital

We hear from nurses at Poole hospital that overtime, double time, and incentivised pay has been stopped – staff have been trying to make a stand by not taking on extra shifts – this has caused a shortage – and the hospital is now using agency staff at a cost of £1,000 a day – saying this comes out of a different budget (which I assume ward managers cannot access) – RBH also have to use agencies – staff prefer not to work for agencies but feel they have no choice –

What is going on?

What can be the rationale for this?

Please ask the hospital administrators…. Don’t let them hide behind political ideology and coercion.
