PAINTING THE TOWN

Visitors to Wimborne Model Town will have a brighter welcome thanks to the generosity of local paint manufacturer Farrow and Ball and kind hearted helpers from Wimborne Waitrose.

Joining forces with the Model Town’s own volunteers, the team has been busy refreshing the internal facilities of the charity attraction before the start of the new season.

“We are delighted that Farrow and Ball were able to advise and provide materials for the new colour scheme and help from our friends at Waitrose has made the job so much easier” comments Development Manager Greg Hoar. “When the warmer spring weather arrives we’ll be outside with our paint brushes and new volunteers are always welcome to help”.

300 model buildings from the early 1950s are open to the public from April 5th.
