I am always interested to see individual people with hugely diverse talents and fields of expertise. Take Brian May for example, a extremely talented musician, badger protector and also with a PhD Honours in Astronomy and the Cosmos.
Now we have our Police and Crime Commisioner with implied expertise in Cybercrime and Victim Counselling too. Remember this is a person who generated a turnout of only 15% of the Dorset electorate for a position which is no more than a mouthpiece for the roll out of Camoron’s totalitarian inspired Big Society. Obviously about as popular as a weevil in a potato harvest and he didn’t even get all the votes.
Perhaps Mr. Underhill gained his experience of Cybercrime by watching back episodes of Doctor Who? The reality is that any and all astute and intelligent businessmen in Dorset already have a good insight in to online security and those that don’t can get plenty of sound advice without having to listen to this jack-of-all-trades.
A special forum has recently been set up in Dorchester for crime victims, only room for 15 though, someone obviously doesn’t like crowds or competition! In his own words and I quote.. “It is important that I meet with victims so I can hear about their journey and find out how to meet their needs”. This is where I need the bucket! What journey would that be then? A trip to Tescos or a visit to Aunt Mabel in Luton? What load of patronising, sanctimonious vomit inducing tripe.
What victims really want is a prompt, positive response, firm action and results, not mealie mouthed words. In other words, do your job and properly. Not treating the victims like the perpetrator because they left a window slighly open so the thief was ‘tempted’. Ah, bless him.
The public want and demand to see the Law of the Land (Common Law, Common Sense) upheld, not petty statutes put in place by successive criminal Governments. To use the Police as nothing more than a private security firm for Westminster, Bankers and big Corporations is totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated by those who pay their wages.
To really make a name for himself, he should be taking all his troops to Westminster and arresting 650 politicians for treason, sedition and crimes against the people.
New bucket please, make it quick!
