PDSW proudly presents 4X4 Ephemeral Architectures by Gandini Juggling on Thursday 5 February to launch the ‘Thursday night is dance night’ programme for Spring 2015.
4×4 brings together four ballet dancers and four jugglers with live music and atmospheric lighting in a mesmerising show that truly pushes the boundaries of the possible. This promises to be an exciting show full of incredibly skilled performers from this company who are at the forefront of contemporary circus.
4×4 is directed by world-renowned juggler Sean Gandini, choreographed by Royal Ballet dancer Ludovic Ondiviela, with original composition Suspended opus 69 by Nimrod Borenstein and performed live by exceptional young chamber ensemble Camerata Alma Viva.
Formed in 1992 by Sean Gandini and Kati Ylä-Hokkala, Gandini Juggling celebrates juggling in all its facets, exploring not just what juggling is, but what juggling can be. The company continues to reinvent and reinvigorate juggling for the 21stcentury, producing everything from elegant duets to 20-strong choral pieces.
The ‘Thursday Night is Dance Night’ programme continues with a different professional dance company every Thursday at Pavilion Dance until 26 March.
