Person Sought Following Damage To Cash Machines Across Poole

Officers are issuing an image of a person they would like to identify after significant damage was caused to cash machines in Poole.

Overnight between Tuesday, 28 January, and Wednesday, 29 January 2025, damage was caused to five ATM machines.

The incidents occurred in Blandford Road and the High Street.

Police Constable Gemma Savage, of Poole police, said: “These incidents caused significant damage to the cash machines, resulting in costly repairs being needed.

“We believe that the damage was caused to try and access money inside the machines, but thankfully no access was gained.

“As part of our ongoing enquiries, I am issuing an image of a person I would like to identify. While I appreciate their face is covered, I am hoping someone may recognise them from the clothing they are wearing.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250012869. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
