Police Call on Public to Help Find Missing Girls in Bournemouth

Officers are pleased to update that two missing girls in Bournemouth have been found.

Natalia, aged 11, and Shakira, aged 14, were last seen at around 3.15pm on Friday 17 July 2026 in the Bearwood area.

Following enquiries, they have now been found. We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal and provided information.

Officers are appealing for help from the public to find two missing girls in Bournemouth.

Natalia, aged 11, and Shakira, aged 14, were last seen at around 3.15pm on Friday 17 July 2026 near to the Co-op in King John Avenue in the Bearwood area.

Natalia is described as five feet two inches tall, of slim build with light brown hair worn in a ponytail and was last seen wearing grey denim shorts and a black top.

Shakira is described as five feet four inches tall, of slim build with curly hair and was last seen wearing an off-white-coloured top with blue denim shorts and a black headband.

Chief Inspector Derek McKerl, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand that Natalia and Shakira left the area together and we need to find them to make sure they are OK.

“I would ask anyone who has seen two girls matching the description given, or may have spoken to either of them since they were last seen, to please get in touch.

“If either Natalia or Shakira see this appeal, please get in contact with us or a family member as we all just want to make sure you are safe.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to their whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 999, quoting incident number 17:828.
