Police concerned for missing woman from Wyke Regis

Update:

Officers are pleased to confirm that Jenna Benfield, who went missing in Weymouth, has been found.

Jenna was reported missing having last been seen on the morning of Thursday 9 November 2023.

Following searches by officers, she has now been located.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

Officers are appealing for information from the public as they search for a missing woman in Weymouth.

Dorset Police received a report raising concern for the welfare of Jenna Benfield, aged 35, who is believed to have left an address in the Wyke Regis area on foot at around 7.30am on Thursday 9 November 2023.

Jenna is described as five feet tall and of medium build with dark brown hair below her shoulders and a tattoo on her left wrist. She is believed to have been wearing a white tracksuit.

Inspector Gareth Bishop, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Jenna’s welfare and we are conducting a number of searches as we are keen to find her and make sure she is all right.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding Jenna’s whereabouts to please contact us immediately.

“Finally, I would like to make a direct plea to Jenna if you see this – please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are. We just want to check that you are OK.”
