Police Extremely Concerned For Missing Sherborne Man

Officers searching for a missing man last seen in Sherborne can confirm he has been found.

Neil Buckland was last seen at 3pm on Friday 13 December 2024, at an address in the town.

Following enquiries and searches by officers, Neil has been found. We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal and provided information.

Officers are appealing for help from the public to find a missing man who was last seen in Sherborne.

Neil Buckland, aged 49, was last seen at 3pm on Friday 13 December 2024 and left an address in the town in a white Mercedes Sprinter panel van with the registration number YJ66 WNS.

He is described as five feet ten inches tall and of medium build with short hair and a beard. Neil was last seen wearing blue jeans, green trainers and was carrying a brown or green backpack.

Inspector Tracy Santoni, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Neil has been upset recently and we are carrying out enquiries to try and locate him.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Neil – or a vehicle matching the one described – to please contact Dorset Police urgently.

“If you see this appeal Neil, please get in touch with us or your family as we are all worried about you and just want to make sure you are safe and well.”
