Police Investigating Fight In Dorchester

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch after a fight in Dorchester.

At approximately 5.15pm on Monday 7 October 2024, a fight occurred involving a group of male and female young people in Monmouth Road.

During the incident, it is reported that a female member of the group was hit to the ground.

Officers attended and carried out an area search, but nobody was located.

Police Constable Ben Hannigan, of Dorchester police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident, but so far we have not been able to identify anyone involved.

“I am appealing to anyone with information about what happened to please come forward so we can ensure any appropriate action is taken.

“Finally, I would ask residents in the area or any motorists travelling with a dashcam to please check their footage for anything of relevance that may assist my investigation.”
