Two people have been arrested in connection with a reported suspicious fire on Portland.
Dorset Police received a report at around 6.25pm on Friday 8 January 2021 of a fire in a garage in Ladymead Close. There were no reports of any injuries.
Following enquiries by detectives from Weymouth CID a 27-year-old local woman and a 33-year-old local man have been arrested on suspicion of arson. They have been released on police bail as detectives continue their investigation.
Detectives investigating a suspicious fire on Portland are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
