Officers carrying out enquiries to locate a missing Poole man are appealing for information from the public to help find him.

Adam Charles Hansford, aged 41, was initially reported missing on Sunday 9 May 2021. He has since been in phone contact with his family on Tuesday 11 May 2021 but has still not been seen and officers are becoming concerned for his welfare.

Adam is described as white, six feet tall and of slim build with short brown shaved hair. He has a brace on his left leg and may have a blue rucksack and yellow carrier bag with him.

Inspector Dave Kewley, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Adam has been upset recently and we are keen to locate him to make sure he is all right.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us.

“I would also like to make an appeal to Adam if you see this – please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are as we just want to ensure you are safe and well.”
