Police Renew Appeal For Missing Man From Christchurch

Officers searching for a missing man from Christchurch are pleased to confirm he has been found.

Kevin Hincks was last seen travelling in the area of Hurn Road on the morning of Thursday 5 December 2024.

Following enquiries and searches by officers, he has now been found. We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

Officers are renewing their appeal for information from the public as searches continue for a missing man from Christchurch.

Kevin Hincks, aged 49, was reported missing having last been seen travelling in the area of Hurn Road in a silver Ford Ka Zetec registration HF13 XDL at around 9.35am on Thursday 5 December 2024.

Kevin is described as five feet six inches tall, bald and of slim build. It is unknown what clothing he may be wearing.

Following enquiries, officers are now in a position to issue a CCTV image of Kevin at around 9.20am on Thursday 5 December 2024 at the One Stop store in Hunt Road. He is wearing a dark-coloured jacket, a black beanie hat and glasses.

Inspector David Parr, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing our enquiries to try and locate Kevin, but so far we have still not been able to find him.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, or who has seen a man matching the description given, to please get in touch.

“Also, I would urge residents or motorists in the area to please review their home CCTV cameras or dashcams to see if they have captured any footage of Kevin so we can continue to trace his whereabouts.

“Lastly, I would like to make a direct plea to Kevin that if he sees this appeal to please get in touch with us or your friends and family. We just want to ensure that you are ok.”
