Police Seek Public Assistance Following Woman Abused In Lidl, Bridport

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward following a public order incident in Bridport.

It was reported that at around 5pm on Monday 6 January 2025 a man was verbally abusive to a woman in Lidl on St Andrews Road. It was reported that the man and woman involved were known to each other. 

Police Constable Ollie Pagett, of Bournemouth Police, said: “We are carrying out enquires into this incident and would like to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.

“I am particularly keen to speak to a woman who is reported to have assisted the victim following the incident, as she may have information to assist our enquiries.”
