Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward as they investigate a report of threatening behaviour in Poole.

It is reported that at around 8pm on Saturday 28 December 2024 a man and woman were walking in the area of Lagland Street when they were approached by a woman known to them.

It is alleged the woman pulled out a knife and made threats to kill the man before walking away.

Detective Sergeant Karen Penn, of Dorset Police, said: “We are conducting enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses.

“I would also urge motorists who may have been in the area to please check any dashcam footage from around the relevant time period to see if they have captured anything that might assist our enquiries.

“I would like to make the same plea to residents or businesses in the vicinity with CCTV systems to review their footage for anything of relevance.”
