Police Suspect Wanted Man Is Staying In Turlin Moor Area Of Poole

Officers are issuing a further appeal for information from the public as they continue their enquiries to locate a wanted man from Poole.

Philip Martin Bright, aged 49, is wanted in connection with an alleged assault that occurred in the Hamworthy area on Friday 6 December 2024.

He is described as white, five feet eight inches tall and of medium build with brown hair.

Detective Sergeant Rich Barnett, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries to locate Philip Bright and we now have information that he may have been staying in the Turlin Moor area of Poole.

“We would like to remind the public that anyone knowingly assisting a wanted person in evading police is likely to be committing the criminal offence of assisting an offender and face police action as a result.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding Bright’s whereabouts to please contact us.

“While there is no information to suggest he presents a risk to the general public, we would urge anyone who sees him not to approach him, but to instead dial 999 immediately.”
