Police very concerned about elderly man missing in Poole

Officers searching for a missing man from Poole are appealing for help and information from the public to find him.

Dorset Police received a report at 12.38pm on Tuesday 4 April 2023 raising concern for the welfare of 77-year-old Laurence Scott. He was last seen at 11.10am on Monday 3 April 2023 in Princess Road.

Laurence is described as six feet three inches tall and of medium build with short grey hair. He normally wears a green sweatshirt and black tracksuit bottoms and walks with a walking stick.

Inspector Tracy Santoni, of Dorset Police, said: “Laurence is a vulnerable man who can be easily confused and we are keen to find him to ensure he is safe and well.

“I am appealing to anyone who has seen Laurence, or a man matching the description given, since the morning of Monday 3 April 2023 to please get in touch.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Laurence’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/contact or by calling 101, quoting incident number 4:279.
