Police Very Concerned For Missing Amber In Weymouth


Update – missing teenage girl in Weymouth found

Following searches, she has now been located. We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

Officers are appealing for help from the public to find a missing teenage girl in Weymouth.

Amber, aged 15, was last seen at around 2.30pm on Saturday, 29 March 2025, in Church Road in the Preston area.

She is described as five feet tall with long, straight, ginger-blonde hair that is tied up and was wearing black tracksuit bottoms with a blue hooded jumper.

Inspector Luke Larcombe, of Dorset Police, said, “We understand Amber has been upset recently, and we urgently need to find her.

“I am asking anyone who has seen Amber, or a girl matching the description given, to please get in touch.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Amber: if you see this appeal, please contact us or your family, as we are all worried and just want to know you are OK.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Amber’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 29:313.
