Police Very Concerned For Missing Christchurch Man

Officers searching for a missing man from Christchurch are pleased to confirm he has been found.

Kevin Hincks was last seen travelling in the area of Hurn Road on the morning of Thursday 5 December 2024.

Following enquiries and searches by officers, he has now been found. We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

Officers are appealing for information from the public to assist their search for a missing man from Christchurch.

Kevin Hinks, aged 49, was reported missing having last been seen travelling in the area of Hurn Road in a silver Ford Ka Zetec registration HF13 XDL at around 9.35am on Thursday 5 December 2024.

Kevin is described as five feet six inches tall, bald and of slim build. It is unknown what clothing he may be wearing.

Inspector Craig Tiernan, of Dorset Police, said: “We do have concerns for Kevin’s welfare and we are carrying out searches as we are keen to find him and ensure that he is all right.

“Kevin was last known to be driving his vehicle in the Hurn Road area and I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, or who has seen a man matching the description given to please contact us.

“We are aware that Kevin has been feeling very upset recently and if he sees this appeal, I would urge him to call us. We are worried about you and want to ensure you are OK.”
