Update:

Officers searching for a man reported missing from Portland are pleased to confirm he has been found.

Sukhbant Siddhu was reported missing having last been seen in the Wakeham area of the island at around 8am on Tuesday 2 July 2024.

Following enquiries and searches by officers, he has been found.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

Officers are appealing for information from the public to assist their searches for a missing man from Portland.

Sukhbant Siddhu, aged 48, was reported missing on Tuesday 2 July 2024 having last been seen in Wakeham at around 8am. It is believed that he visited the Chesil beach car park on Portland Beach Road that morning.

Sukhbant is described as five feet ten inches tall, of slim to stocky build with long combed-over hair and a long black beard. He may be wearing a turban.

He was last seen wearing short-legged pyjamas.

Inspector Steve Hughes, of Dorset Police, said: “Sukhbant’s disappearance is very out-of-character and we are concerned for his welfare. We are very keen to locate him to ensure he is safe and well.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding Sukhbant’s whereabouts, or who has seen a man matching the description given, to please contact us.

“If Sukhbant sees this appeal, I would urge him to call us. We are all worried about you and just want to ensure you are OK.”
