Officers are appealing for information from the public as they search for a missing man who was last seen in Poole.

David Michael Vye, aged 24, was reported missing having last been seen in the Canford Cliffs area shortly before 1pm on Tuesday 6 June 2023.

He is described as five feet ten inches tall and of medium build. David was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, blue jogging bottoms and trainers. He may also be wearing a hat, possibly a baseball cap.

Inspector Jon Wasey, of Dorset Police’s Missing Person Support Team, said: “While we have no information to indicate David has come to any harm, he has not been seen for some time now and we are becoming concerned for his welfare.

“We are keen to locate him to make sure he is all right and we are conducting a number of enquiries. From these enquiries, we understand David has links to the West Howe area of Bournemouth and may be travelling on foot or using taxis locally.

“I would urge anyone with information relating to David’s whereabouts to please contact us.

“I would also like to make a direct plea to David if you see this – please get in touch and let us know where you are. We just want to check you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to David’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55230087276.
