Police Very Concerned For Missing Skye

Update – teenager who went missing in Bournemouth has been located

Officers searching for missing teenager Skye in Bournemouth can confirm she has been located.

The 16-year-old was reported missing having last been seen on Friday 12 September 2025 and was believed to have travelled to the Bournemouth area.

Following detailed enquiries and searches by officers, she has now been located.

Three people – two men aged 22 and 28 and 23-year-old woman, all from Bournemouth – have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody at this time. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.

Officers searching for a missing teenager in Bournemouth are appealing for help and information from the public to find her.

Skye, aged 16, was last seen at around 10.15am on Tuesday 16 September 2025 in the area of Hillesdon Road in Torquay and is believed to have travelled by train to the Bournemouth area.

She is described as five feet three inches tall and of slim build with light brown shoulder length hair.

She was last seen wearing a white hoodie with purple and beige hearts on it, black flared trousers and beige Crocs, and was carrying a small brown bag.

Police Constable Ben Richards, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for the welfare of Skye and are carrying out searches to locate her.

“We need to find her as soon as possible and would ask anyone who has seen Skye or has information about her whereabouts to please get in touch.”
