Police ‘very concerned’ for missing Weymouth man

Officers searching for missing Weymouth man Peter Moxham say he has been found.

Peter, 36, was reported missing just after 5pm on Sunday 4 December 2022.

Following searches, supported by the NPAS helicopter, we are pleased to say Peter has been located.

Officers are currently searching for a man who has gone missing from Weymouth and are appealing for information from the public to help find him.

Dorset Police received a report at 5.02pm on Sunday 4 December 2022 raising concern for the welfare of 36-year-old Peter Moxham.

He is described as five feet six inches tall, of average build and was wearing a zipped-up navy jacket, red hooded top, grey jogging bottoms, walking boots and a baseball cap.

Inspector Gareth Bishop, of Dorset Police, said: “We know Peter has been very upset and we are very concerned for him.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Peter, or a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“Finally, if you see this appeal Peter, please make contact with us or your family as we all just want to make sure you are OK.”
