Dating as a single parent can be hard but, the UK’s first dating app aimed solely at single parents, is aiming to make this as easy as possible.  One way that they are doing this is by creating a top 10 list of the best locations in the UK to go on a family date.

The list includes Poole Harbour plus a number of the country’s top venues and attractions as well as a few more slightly unusual choices.

This list has been created by the team at Playdate who asked users of the app and social media followers for suggestions as well as throwing in a few of their own.

This list includes both family friendly venues where you can bring the kids along as well as venues that are great for adults only! We hope you find it useful!

The list in full is

1 If you want to enjoy some culture on your date the V&A Dundee is the perfect place to visit.  Having opened in 2018, this stunning building houses the best in Scottish creativity and design.

2 The Im a celebrity at Media City UK, Manchester offers fun for all the family.  Just watch out for the bushtucker trials!

Nevine Coutry, founder of Playdate, comments “Across the country you have so much choice for both romantic dates and family friendly dates. These are some of our favourite spots and I am so pleased to see that our users agree!”
