Detectives have made a further arrest as they continue to investigate reports of a stabbing at an address in Wimborne.
Dorset Police was called at around 9.50pm on Sunday 26 February 2023 to reports a man had been stabbed at an address in the Leigh Gardens area of the town.
Officers attended and found a man aged in his 50s had sustained stab wounds. He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
Following a search of the area and fast-time enquiries, a 15-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man, both from the Wimborne area, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They have now been released on police bail.
Following further enquiries, an 18-year-old Poole man has also been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing and detectives from Dorset County CID are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to contact Dorset Police.
