Poole man charged with attempted murder

A man has been charged and is due to appear in court following an investigation by detectives into a reported assault in Poole.

At 5.02pm on Tuesday 27 June 2023 Dorset Police received a report that a teenage boy had been assaulted with a knife at Poole bus station.

He was taken to hospital with a serious arm injury.

Following enquiries, a 20-year-old man from Poole was arrested in relation to the incident. He has subsequently been charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 29 June 2023.
