A Poole man has been jailed for more than four years after police officers discovered two kilograms of cocaine and cash during a vehicle stop.
Jake Musselwhite, aged 36 and from Poole, was sentenced to four years and two months in prison at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday 21 August 2026.
Officers stopped a blue Ford Fiesta at around 2.15pm on Thursday 16 April 2026 in the area of Longfleet Road after receiving reports that the vehicle was involved in suspicious activity.
Musselwhite was sitting in the back of the car when officers stopped it. He was found in possession of a brown paper bag containing two separate blocks of cocaine, each weighing one kilogram.
Further searches of the vehicle and Musselwhite uncovered additional small bags containing cocaine, as well as £1,570 in cash.
The drugs had an estimated minimum street value of £120,000.
Musselwhite was arrested and subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
He pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday.
Detective Constable Liam Moss, of Dorset Police, said the case demonstrated officers’ efforts to disrupt suspected drug supply in the area.
“This is another example of our officers disrupting the activities of those involved in the suspected supply of illegal drugs,” he said.
“We hope this case demonstrates we will pursue offenders relentlessly and take robust action against anyone seeking to bring harm to our communities.”
