Poole RNLI Lifeboat Station Float To Live Festival

The second year students on the Event Management course at Arts University Bournemouth are collaborating with Poole RNLI Lifeboat Station to bring the people of Poole a full program of events across Poole Town & Quay on Saturday 9th March To Fundraise & Raising awareness of the ‘Float To Live’ Water Safety Campaign as well as celebrating the RNLI’s 200th Anniversary of saving lives at sea!

Kicking off with sessions 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm is our FREE event for families Seaside Stories and Funfair Adventures at St James Church, children can play games, spin the wheel & get creative with arts & crafts, as well as learn about Poole RNLI Lifeboat Station and enjoy enhanced stories from the mermaid of Poole!

Rock The Waves at The King Charles’ Inn is the perfect warm up event for the England vs Ireland Rugby Match. GinTinker a 5 piece band playing upbeat covers from the 60’s until present day will be performing LIVE from 2pm.

Coastal Heroes Casino Night! From 7pm-10pm at Hennings Wharf on Poole Quay, Step into the glamour of our Las Vegas themed casino charity fundraiser! Roll the dice and join us for a night of high stakes and higher purpose.
Get ready to glam up and step into a world of glitz, glamour, and giving, all in support of the incredible work done by the Poole RNLI Lifeboat Station. Tickets are priced at just £5, which includes £10 worth of play chips, every chip you play supports the brave men and women who save lives at sea every day. The players with the most chips at the end of the night will walk away with our exciting prizes!

Harmony By The Quay is an evening of delightful music illuminated by candlelight in the beautiful St. James’ Church Poole! Feast on the outstanding architecture and enjoy a variety of live music and performances featuring a pianist, an opera singer, and the Just Sing Adult Choir. 7pm-9.30pm with tickets only £7.50

Feast of the High Seas with Captain Scotch-Bonnet is not your ordinary dining experience and certainly isn’t one you want to miss— the crew wants to welcome you on an immersive journey to the heart of pirate lore and adventure!
As you step through the doors, you’ll be whisked away into a world of sea shanties, pirate duels, and games to keep you on your toes! The evening kicks off with a bang as our Captain Scotch-Bonnet welcomes you aboard with his signature blend of wit and charm. You’ll then be guided through a pirate feast with raucous theatrical entertainment, infused with a healthy dose of humour and unpredictability. The menu, prepared by the ship’s very own chef, Old Salt, includes hearty favourites among the crew, like leek and potato soup and chilli con carne.
The voyage will come to a bittersweet end with a delicious, salted caramel chocolate brownie cheesecake on Poole’s Secret “Dessert Island.” So, what are you waiting for? Come and get stuck in with us! Tickets are £25, which includes all this entertainment along with a 3 course meal! From 7pm-10pm at The Kings Head in Poole.

There is also an amazing raffle running alongside each event and online at £5 per strip we have had so much support from local businesses and have some fantastic prizes worth over £2000!
