On Wednesday 13th May 2020 at approximately 1615hrs, officers from the County Lines Management Team arrested a 49 year-old local male at an address on Portland. He was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs as a result of reports of suspicious activity in the area.

The male was searched and found to be in possession of a large quantity of suspected Class A drug wraps. A further search was then conducted of the address where further items were seized.

The male has since been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, namely heroin and crack cocaine. He was remanded in custody and appeared in Court on Friday 15th May.
