Presenter and advertisers quit GB News

Following a huge effort by Stop Funding Hate supporters, we’re now seeing a marked reduction in the number of companies advertising on GB News.

Meanwhile, media commentator India Willoughby last week quit the channel, accusing it of “opening the gates of hell” on transphobia.

While some brands have emailed Stop Funding Hate supporters directly, or replied publicly to confirm that they were dropping GB News, many others appear to have stopped their advertising without any public announcement.

Together we’re helping to show the strength of public opposition to divisive and inflammatory media. The companies we shop with care what their customers think, and it’s clear that when enough of us speak out, advertisers will respond.
