Officers searching for missing 45-year-old Antony Wallis are pleased to confirm he has been located.

Dorset Police received a call at 11.44am on Wednesday 29 April 2020 reporting concern for his welfare. 

Following searches by officers, assisted by the NPAS helicopter, Antony has now been located. We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

Officers searching for a missing man in Poole are appealing for help from the public to find him.

Dorset Police received a call at 11.44am on Wednesday 29 April 2020 reporting concern for the welfare of Antony Wallis, aged 45, who was in the Hamworthy area.

He is described as white, five feet six inches tall and of medium build. He was wearing a black waterproof jacket with a bright blue Adidas hooded top underneath, dark-coloured trousers with a Nike logo on the left leg and navy blue trainers. Antony also wears glasses.

Chief Inspector Lindsay Dudfield, of Dorset Police, said: “Antony is understood to have been very upset recently and we are carrying out extensive searches to find him as we want to make sure he is all right.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“I would also appeal to Antony directly if you see this to please make contact with us or your family so we can ensure you are safe and well.”
