Public appeal in search for missing Blandford man

Update:

Officers searching for missing Blandford man Gareth Bugler are pleased to say he has been found safe and well.

The 39-year-old was last seen at 2.55am today, Saturday 20 July 2019, when he left an address in Langton Road in an upset state.

Gareth returned to his home address just before 1pm today.

We would like to thank everyone for sharing our appeal.

 

Officers are appealing for help from the public as they search for a missing man from Blandford.

Gareth Bugler, 39, was last seen at 2.55am today, Saturday 20 July 2019, when he left an address in Langton Road in an upset state.

He is described as white, five feet six inches tall, of medium build and bald. He was last seen wearing a black weatherproof proof puffer-style coat and khaki-coloured trousers.

Chief Inspector Steve Yeoman, of Dorset Police, said: “We are very worried about Gareth and we need to ensure he is safe and well.

“Officers have been carrying out searches throughout this morning but these have so far not been successful.

“I am appealing to anyone who has seen Gareth or a man matching the description given to please contact us immediately.

“I would also urge Gareth if you see this appeal to please make contact with us as we just want to make sure you are alright.”
